Logos

A logo (abbreviation of logotype, Greek: logo - "word" and typos -"imprint") is a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol commonly used by businesses and individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition.
No, you don’t NEED a logo, but deciding whether or not you WANT a logo is an important choice to make. If you decide you want a logo for things like business cards or your website, a simple image icon matched with a good font and no more than two colors is usually enough. We have found that most breeders benefit from a simple, professional image.

Icons

An icon is a small graphical representation of something. In web design, we often create a favicon.ico file (image) for our clients that is symbolic of their breed or contained in their logo. These files are displayed in the browser tab. This website has a white horse.

We have created many icons for clients that have been used as image links within their pages as well.

Imagery

A blanket term for a lot of things. But I read a simple statement once that I liked. It said "Imagery is the product of imagination." After many years in this business, not many who can write good code are also creative. And, believe me, it takes both to design a good website.

Imagery isn't just (written) language used by poets and novelists to create images in the mind of the reader. It is also the creation of actual (physical/visual) images.
